EXT Series extra cellular amplifier

NARISHIGE’s EXT series of amplifiers are specially designed for extracellular recordings, where the potentials measured are of very low amplitude (in the microvolt range). With an amplification gain of up to 10K and adjustable high-pass and low-pass filters, these amplifiers enable even the weakest neural signals to be accurately detected and analysed. Manufactured using high-quality electronic components and powered by an external source to minimise noise, EXT amplifiers provide excellent signal stability. Each model incorporates a high-impedance differential preamplifier to reduce noise and distortion, and an analogue display of the recorded potential. The range is available in a number of versions (single channel, multichannel, tetrode) to meet a variety of experimental needs. Preamplifier options include standard or miniature configurations, with or without direct stimulation.

Standard: 1, 2 or 4 channels, with possibility of direct stimulation by the same electrode
Miniature: 1, 2, 4, 6 or 8 channels
