SENSAPEX in-vivo system for NEUROPIXEL recordings – 2 micromanipulators
The SENSAPEX in-vivo system for two micromanipulators is designed for reliable, reproducible and stable Neuropixel recordings. It enables precise and repeatable probe positioning, with automated fluid insertion at up to 1 µm/s to protect the tissue.
The system supports angles ranging from vertical to near-horizontal with rotation centred on the brain, and allows rapid exchange of probes without risk of breakage. The angles are easily adjustable using easy-to-read scales. Automated control is possible via a Python interface and a Pinpoint-compatible SDK.
The complete setup includes two micromanipulators, supports and modular arms, as well as a controller with touch screen and remote interface for ergonomic and precise control.
