Recording chamber for electric field stimulation RC-21BRFS WARNER
RC-21BRFS uses a pair of 25 mm round coverslips to form the top and bottom of the closed bath, which has a total volume of 263 µL. Two platinum wire electrodes are placed on parallel sides of the oval bath and connected by 15 cm wires terminated with 1 mm pins. A stainless steel port allows injection of substances or removal of air bubbles via a standard microlitre syringe. Field stimulation is applied via an optional field stimulator. Perfusion flow is regulated by an outlet tube acting as a back-pressure control. The chamber requires a platform and a 20 series stage adapter for microscope mounting. Each unit is supplied with 25 mm coverslips and 10 feet of PE-160 tubing.
