pT-100 CoolLED for transmitted light

The pT-100 CoolLED is an LED illuminator designed for transmitted light illumination. It is an effective replacement for 12V/50 W or 12V/100 W halogen lamps, providing even, balanced light over the entire field of view. Easy to install thanks to adapters available for most microscopes, it is simple to use with an on/off button and precise intensity control (0-100%, 1% increments). Illumination is stable and reproducible, with no unwanted UV emissions and no need for neutral filters.

The pT-100 is available in four models to suit different needs:

  • pT-100-WHT: white light, replaces 100 W halogen with constant colour rendering
  • pT-100-525: peak at 525 nm, ideal for switching from brightfield observation to fluorescence
  • pT-100-635: peak at 635 nm, for thick tissue samples without damage
  • pT-100-770: peak at 770 nm, for infrared illumination on thick tissue
