Lumencor’s SOLA Light Engine is a mercury-free solid-state white light source designed for microscopy and test equipment.

The SOLA Light Engine replaces arc lamps (mercury or metal halide), offering high intensity, rapid stability and no maintenance.

  • Active luminous flux stabilisation function via photodetector and feedback
  • Instant start-up with no warm-up time, stability achieved in less than a second

  • Typical life ≥ 10 years (>20,000 h), no consumables
