MMO-220C NARISHIGE Micromanipulator 1 oil axis

The Narishige MMO-220C micromanipulator is a single-axis, oil-hydraulic system specifically designed for DNA injection applications. It allows precise movement in the same direction as the micropipette, reducing the risk of cell damage. With a knob rotation of 1 mm, it is ideally suited to samples ranging from a few hundred microns to a few millimetres, particularly under the stereomicroscope. The compact, swivel-mounted control unit is compatible with any three-dimensional manipulator. This model can be used on the right or left, thanks to an integrated rotation system.

Features of the MMO-220C NARISHIGE 1-axis oil-powered micromanipulator

  • Displacement on one axis: 10 mm
  • Full knob rotation: 1 mm
  • Minimum graduation: 20 µm
  • Control unit dimensions: W55 × D45 × H80 mm, 140 g
  • Motor unit dimensions: W45 × D20 × H35 mm, 90 g
  • Length of hydraulic tube: 0.9 m
  • Holds pipette holders with an external diameter of 4 mm
  • Can be used on the right or left-hand side thanks to a rotation mechanism
  • Alternative model available: MMO-220A (250 µm full rotation)

Applications

  • Micromanipulations for DNA injection
  • Fine, controlled insertion of micropipettes under stereomicroscope
  • Extension of an existing three-dimensional manipulator
  • Micro-injection procedures requiring a precise and independent axis of movement
