MTK-1 NARISHIGE Takanome micromanipulation system
Oil-hydraulic micromanipulator with four-axis suspended joystick. The optimum manipulator specially designed for handling cells in suspension! Once set, the new fan-shaped device always returns precisely to the original position of the pipette tip. The newly-integrated button moves the pipette along its axis using a traditional, smooth-running oil-hydraulic joystick. This joystick will save you the tedious work of aligning the pipette with the optical axis, leaving you more time to concentrate on essential operations.
Description of the MTK-1 NARISHIGE Takanome micromanipulation system
The Narishige Takanome MTK-1 system is an all-in-one solution dedicated to microinjection into animal or embryonic cells.
It comprises two high-precision hydraulic micromanipulators mounted on an XY translation platform, ensuring stable and reproducible positioning.
The MTK-1 is specially designed for inverted microscopes and offers optimum compatibility with Narishige microinjection systems.
The MTK-1 kit is compatible with several microscope models, depending on the manufacturer.
At Evident (Olympus), it is available for models IX71 (ref. MTK-1-O2) as well as IX73 and IX83 (ref. MTK-1-O3).
For Nikon, it fits ECLIPSE Ti (ref. MTK-1-N2), ECLIPSE Ts2R (ref. MTK-1-N3) and ECLIPSE Ti2 (ref. MTK-1-N4) microscopes.
For Carl Zeiss, it is compatible with the Axio Observer 3/5/7 (ref. MTK-1-Z1) and Axiovert 5 (ref. MTK-1-Z3) models.
Finally, for Leica, it is designed for the DMi8 model (ref. MTK-1-L2).
For microscopes not listed, such as special stages, stereomicroscopes or inserts, a custom adapter can be provided. In this case, please contact Narishige for further information.
