Axoclamp 900A amplifier
The Axoclamp 900A is Molecular Devices’ latest electrophysiology amplifier, designed for microelectrode recordings on single cells, tissue slices or in vivo preparations. It offers several operating modes, including impressed current (I-Clamp), discontinuous impressed current (DCC), two-electrode impressed potential (TEVC), discontinuous single-electrode impressed potential (dSEVC), and HVIC mode for extracellular iontophoresis. The instrument can be controlled either by software via a computer, allowing automation and automatic detection of oscillations, or by a mechanical control box for instant and precise adjustments. The miniaturised HS-9A and VG-9A pre-amplifiers can be easily integrated and securely attached to all types of micromanipulators. Built-in signal conditioning eliminates the need for additional hardware, making for a more compact and efficient installation in an electrophysiology workstation.
