3-axis micromanipulator: X, Y +1 diagonal axis TRIO-235
Sutter Instrument’s TRIO-235 is a stand-alone motorised micromanipulator with three axes, including two orthogonal X and Y axes and a diagonal axis replacing the traditional Z axis. It is designed for in vivo and in vitro electrophysiological recordings, offering sub-micrometric precision and high mechanical stability. The adjustable diagonal axis makes it possible to generate a synthetic Z axis via dedicated software, combining the X and diagonal axes for optimal microelectrode positioning. The TRIO-235 features a compact, silent ROE (Rotary Optical Encoder) controller, digital display and intuitive control of all essential functions, with minimal drift during experiments.
