Microscope translation systems with 3 independent supports MT-1000/MT-2000/MT-2200
Sutter Instrument’s MT-1000, MT-2000 and MT-2200 systems are microscope translation platforms designed for electrophysiology, combined with three independent stands comprising two MT-75 stands for micromanipulators and one MT-150 stand for the experimental chamber, such as a Petri dish or slide. These systems allow visualisation, imaging and recording of distant cells that are not in the same field of view, such as the study of pre- and post-synaptic neurons. The MT-1000 is equipped with a manual MT-500 X-Y platform for moving the microscope, while the MT-2000 and MT-2200 have a motorised MT-800 X-Y platform with stepper motors, controlled respectively by the MP-285 for the MT-2000 and the MPC-200 for the MT-2200. The MT-2000/FD and MT-2200/FD versions add a motorised Z-axis focusing system with limit switches to protect optics and biological preparations. These systems offer smooth, precise and programmable movements, compatible with several microscope models such as the Olympus BX-51WI, Nikon FN1, Zeiss Examiner, Axioskop 2 FS and Leica DM6000FS.
