Multiclamp 700B amplifier
The MultiClamp 700B is a reference amplifier for electrophysiology, designed to operate in both Current Clamp and Voltage Clamp modes. It is designed for recording with both microelectrodes and patch pipettes, in single channel or whole cell configuration. Controlled by MultiClamp Commander software, it offers exceptional versatility with advanced automatic compensation functions for electrode artefacts (potential, fast and slow capacitance, series resistance, bridge mode). Thanks to its two main preamplifiers (CV-7B) and the possibility of adding two auxiliary preamplifiers (HS-2 or VG-2), the MultiClamp 700B allows a wide range of experimental protocols, including the study of field potentials, amperometry, voltammetry and recording on bilayer membranes. Its ability to switch automatically between impressed current and impressed potential according to user-defined criteria makes it a flexible system that is perfectly suited to complex recordings, such as the study of synaptic activity or multiple cellular interactions.
