ELC Series amplifier

npi electronic ELC amplifiers are unique on the market for their ability to combine several recording and stimulation techniques in a single device. They can be used for patch clamp and microelectrode recording, as well as stimulation, dye injection and cell transfection protocols. Each ELC amplifier offers the possibility of identifying a cell in situ using its action potential discharge pattern, then carrying out electro-permeabilisation (electroporation) or stimulating the cell directly. Using the Loose Patch technique, cells can be recorded and stimulated under minimally invasive conditions, including at subcellular levels (dendrites, axons).the integrated preamplifier, based on a resistive feedback circuit, ensures sensitivity in the picoampere (pA) range in patch clamp, operation equivalent to a bridge amplifier and an extracellular amplifier mode. These devices are designed for a wide range of experimental applications, from intracellular to patch clamp, including extracellular and voltammetry.
