    MDO-84 motorised stereotactic micromanipulator – NARISHIGE

    The MDO-84 motorised pencil-type micromanipulator is a hybrid oil-hydraulic micromanipulator system with a stepper motor, giving very precise control (impossible to achieve in manual mode).

    Features of the MDO-84 Motorised Stereotactic Micromanipulator

    Used in conjunction with a stereotactic manipulator, the MDO-84 micromanipulator can be controlled remotely, with a digital display.

    • distance travelled ( 1µm ≈ 10,000 µm in 1µm increments)
    • speed ( 0.1µm/s ≈ 500µm/s in increments of 0.1µm/s)
    • variable time ( 1s ≈ 60 min with increments of 0.1s)

    The drive unit is small and lightweight so that it can be easily mounted on a variety of manual manipulators.
