W-VIEW GEMINI 2C Image Splitting Optics

The W-VIEW GEMINI 2C is a dual-channel optical imaging system designed for advanced microscopy. It provides simultaneous spectral separation of two wavelength bands (450-800 nm) with high transmission and minimal distortion, making it ideal for low-light applications. Its robust, modular design ensures stable, precise alignment, a large field of view and optimum compatibility with inverted and upright microscopes.

Features of the W-VIEW GEMINI 2C Image Splitting Optics

  • Spectral range: 400-800 nm (optimised 450-800 nm)
  • Transmission: 98% from 450 to 800 nm
  • Simultaneous imaging: 2 spectral bands to 2 cameras (ORCA-Flash4.0 sCMOS recommended)

Field of view :

  • 20 mm (standard imaging)
  • 12 mm (with diffraction correction)

Optical quality :

  • Extremely low distortion: 0.05
  • Spatial uniformity: 98
  • Compatibility: C-mount, inverted and upright microscopes
  • Filters: compatible with fluorescence filters and commercial dichroic mirrors
  • Construction: robust, modular and easy to install

Possible extensions :

  • Multi-channel observation (3 or 4 colours with GEMINI combinations)
  • 3D observation via software
  • Adapted modes: super-resolution (high magnifications) and light sheet (low magnifications)

Applications

  • Light sheet microscopy
  • Single molecule imaging
  • Super-resolution microscopy
