S710 Microtome
The S710 is a new generation microtome developed by RWD Life Science, combining manual section and semi-automatic configuration to offer exceptional cutting accuracy, particularly suited to hard and delicate tissue. Thanks to its 5″ touch screen equipped with an operation and alarm history recording system, it makes it easy to keep track of usage while maintaining low maintenance costs. The 2-in-1 blade holder supports both high and low profile blades.
Features of the S710 semi-automatic rotary microtome (Minux®)
- Precision cutting system via cross roller bearings, ball screw, five-phase stepper motor.
- Blade holder with scales for precise lateral adjustment of cutting edge.
- Double manual handwheel lock with safety device.
- Large-capacity magnetic waste bin for easy maintenance.
- Patented visual pointer for quick sample alignment.
