Camera ORCA Halo
The ORCA-Halo is a high-performance, backlit sCMOS scientific camera designed as an affordable model within the ORCA range. It combines high sensitivity, 9MP resolution and very low read noise for easy integration and reliable imaging results.
ORCA-Halo camera features
- 9 MP (3000 × 3000 pixels) back-illuminated sensor, 3.76 µm pixels, ~11 mm × 11 mm wide field of view
- Maximum quantum efficiency of around 86% at spectral peak, ensuring an excellent signal-to-noise ratio
- Configurable read noise: typically 1.6 e- rms (standard gain ×1) or 1.3 e- rms (gain ×8)
- High dynamic range up to 14,000:1 (median, in 16-bit standard gain ×1 mode)
- Standard area or patented Light Sheet Readout Mode
- Cooling options: forced air or water to reduce dark current
