MOS-1 Manual Stereotactic Micromanipulator – NARISHIGE

Narishige’s MOS-1 manual stereotactic micromanipulator is an add-on hydraulic device designed as a Z-axis for the SMM series of stereotactic frames. The hydraulic unit transmits movements to the nearby drive unit, providing superior stability and micrometric precision without hand vibration. Compatible with implantation and injection work, it can accommodate rods from Ø 3 to 8.5 mm and support up to 250 g.

Features of the MOS-1 Manual Stereotactic Micromanipulator – NARISHIGE

  • Hydraulic control of the Z axis, ensuring accuracy of a few microns, without shaking
  • Fine travel range: 10 mm
  • Travel per knob rotation: 500 µm
  • Minimum graduation: 2 µm
  • Tool-free mounting for Ø 3-8.5 mm rods
  • Robust & compact, optimised for injection and implantation operations
