Stereomicroscope SZ51 – Evident-Olympus
The SZ51 is a versatile stereomicroscope, designed for brightfield, darkfield, single or oblique polarised light observations. It is available with a binocular or trinocular optical head, inclined at 45° or 60°, and WHSZ10X FN22 or WHSZ20X FN12.5 eyepieces. Its reflected and transmitted LED illumination is integrated into a slim base, offering easy sample handling.
With a 5:1 zoom, the SZ51 covers a range of magnifications from 8× to 40× (with 10× eyepieces) and can be complemented by auxiliary objectives from 0.3× to 2×, allowing the working distance to be adapted from 38 mm to 300 mm as required.
Its Greenough optical system, with a 10° angle of convergence, guarantees excellent image flatness, optimum depth of field and faithful colour reproduction. Compact and ergonomic, it is suitable for both stand-alone use and integration into other equipment, while offering ease of use thanks to its horizontal zoom wheel and integrated stops.
Features of the OLYMPUS SZ51
- Customisable for brightfield, darkfield, single and oblique polarised light observations
- Bionocular or trinocular optical head, tilted at 45° or 60
- WHSZ10X FN22 and WHSZ20X FN 12.5 eyepieces
- LED reflected/transmitted light illumination
- Flat, high-brightness LEDs allow perfect integration of transmitted light into a very slim base, making it easier to access and handle samples.
- The SZ51 offers a range of magnifications from 8X to 40X (using x10 eyepieces)
Auxiliary objectives :
- A110K 0.3X Working distance: 250-300 mm
- A110K 0.4X Working distance: 180-250 mm
- A110 0.5X Working distance: 200 mm
- A110 0.62X Working distance: 160 mm
- A110 0.75X Working distance: 130 mm
- A110 1.5X Working distance: 61 mm
- A110 2X Working distance: 38 mm
- The Greenough optical system has a 10-degree angle of convergence for excellent image flatness and depth of field.
- Careful selection of lens surface coatings and glass types throughout the optical system makes it possible to observe and document specimens in their original colours.
- The V-shaped optical path provides a slim zoom body, suitable for integration into other equipment or for stand-alone use.
The zoom features specific characteristics:
- A large zoom ratio of 5:1.
- Single-axis left/right horizontal wheel
- Built-in high/low magnification and interpupillary distance stop
- Lead-free
