Axiovert 5 inverted microscope – Zeiss
The Zeiss Axiovert 5 is a flexible inverted microscope designed for the life sciences, suitable for both routine and research use. It supports several imaging techniques (brightfield, phase contrast, multichannel fluorescence, iHMC, DIC) and is easy to use thanks to its one-hand controls and stand-alone documentation function on USB stick. Intelligent, it ensures uniform brightness with its encoded turret and can be combined with IA modules (Confluence, Cell Counting) and ZEN software for advanced applications.
Features of Axiovert 5
- Bright background
- Phase contrast
- Multi-channel fluorescence
- iHMC (improved Hoffman Modulation Contrast)
- Differential Interferential Contrast (DIC)
- All main controls accessible with one hand, including image capture button
- Stand-alone for simple routine imaging: digital documentation is possible without a computer, depending on the task in hand or if workspace is limited (images can be saved to USB stick)
- The light manager provides uniform brightness at all magnifications thanks to the encoded objective turret
- Possibility of artificial intelligence systems with the Confluence and Cell Counting modules of the Labscope software
- ZEN imaging software for advanced imaging tasks and research applications
