Axiolab 5 upright microscope – Zeiss

The Zeiss Axiolab 5 is a universal microscope that can be customised for brightfield, phase contrast, DIC and fluorescence observations. It combines 10W LED illumination, optional halogen illumination and up to 3 LEDs for fluorescence, with an intelligent system that automatically adjusts parameters and documents the sample without interrupting observation. Its 75×50 mm mechanical stage, ergonomic control and compatibility with Axiocam cameras mean that you can work efficiently and reproducibly, even without a computer.

The new lighting management function ensures uniform brightness at all magnifications and eliminates the need to manually adjust light intensity when changing objectives:

75×50 mm mechanical stage (railless with anodised surface, right or left-hand drive, extension and torque adjustment possible) and 15 mm Z-axis
Economical and reliable: energy-saving mode: automatically switches to standby mode after 15 minutes of inactivity
Combined with the Axiocam 202 monochrome or Axiocam 208 colour camera, Axiolab 5 can operate independently of any IT system
