MF-3 Microforge NARISHIGE

The NARISHIGE Microforge MF-3 is a piece of equipment dedicated to the microfabrication and customisation of micropipette tips while allowing direct observation under a microscope.

It offers a bright, high-resolution field of view, an improvement on previous generations, and facilitates cutting, bending, polishing and spike creation operations.

Compact and robust, it allows precise positioning of the pipette in the field of view, reducing the risk of breakage.

Critical heating settings are displayed on a digital screen and activated by foot pedal.

Adjustable LED lighting ensures optimum comfort during prolonged use.

Main features of the Microforge MF-3 NARISHIGE

  • Microfabrication of pipettes: cutting, bending, polishing and spike creation
  • Observation under a high-luminosity, high-resolution microscope
  • Extended field of view (+78% compared with previous models)
  • Built-in micrometer with 5° increments for angle control
  • Digital display of heating value
  • Heater controlled by foot pedal
  • Dual heating configuration: horizontal and vertical
  • Burnt” warning function in the event of a heating wire fault
  • Dimmable LED lighting
  • Easy replacement of platinum heating wire (PT-B, 150 µm)
