3-axis micromanipulator + 1 diagonal axis MP-285
The MP-285 is a 3-axis micromanipulator with virtual 4th diagonal axis designed for demanding applications such as Patch Clamp, extracellular and intracellular recording, microinjection and precision robotics. It offers exceptional stability with minimal drift, sub-micrometric resolution from 0.2 µm to 40 nm, a maximum speed of 2.9 mm/sec and motorised travel over 25 mm for each axis. The 4th axis allows precise diagonal positioning in the X-Z, Y-Z or X-Y planes without the need for external software. The MP-285 includes bespoke stepper motors, precision bearing slides and worm gear drives for smooth control. Positions are continuously displayed and can be programmed in robotic sequences of up to 500 instructions. The micromanipulator integrates easily into any configuration thanks to its compact design and universal mounting system for pipettes, microelectrodes and preamplifiers.
