ORCA Quest 2 Monochrome Camera Hamamatsu

The ORCA-Quest 2 is a latest-generation qCMOS scientific camera with photon number resolution (PNR) capability, very low readout noise and high sensitivity, particularly in the UV range.

This camera is designed for applications requiring extremely accurate detection in very low light.

Description of the Hamamatsu ORCA Quest 2 monochrome camera

  • Ultra-low read noise: 0.30 e- rms (Ultra quiet scan)
  • Photoelectron number resolution (PNR)
  • High-sensitivity back-illuminated sensor (4.6 µm)
  • High quantum efficiency, including UV
  • High acquisition speed: up to 120 fps
  • Multiple readout modes: Standard scan, Ultra quiet scan
  • External trigger and C-mount optical compatibility
