Description of the Zeiss Axiocam 208 colour camera
Getting started is simple for the user: no computer, no software to configure or authorise on your workstation by your administrator (IT specialist). And this makes it easy to move and transport the camera from one microscope to another or from one work site to another.
It doesn’t take long to get to grips with Axiocam 208: you connect the camera to the output of your microscope, connect the keyboard and wireless mouse supplied to control the camera directly on your monitor, make your observations under the microscope and capture the images seen through the eyepieces.
All the images and metadata are saved on the USB key supplied and connected to the camera. It’s as simple as that – you don’t need to be an imaging expert to get convincing first images.
