Inverted microscope CKX53 – Evident-Olympus
The OLYMPUS CKX53 microscope is specially designed for cell culture and sample handling, offering ergonomics, flexibility and precision. Compact and stable, it can be used in a fume hood and has all the controls accessible with a single hand. Thanks to its long-distance condenser, it can be adapted to a variety of media (slides, Petri dishes, microplates, vials) and offers a wide 22 mm field of view. Its homogeneous LED lighting, innovative phase contrast systems (iPC, IVC) and fluorescence compatibility guarantee sharp, fast, three-dimensional images for cell biology laboratory applications.
Features of the CKX53 inverted microscope
- Observation in a wide field of 22 mm
- Ergonomic: all the microscope’s controls are accessible and can be used with just one hand (focus adjustment with the focus control on either side, light intensity, changing objectives, moving the XY stage, changing the observation mode on the condenser).
- Very stable stand, small size and lightweight design
- Trinocular output (0/100%)
- Long-distance condenser for observation of all types of media (slides, Petri dishes, microplates, vials, etc.)
- Designed to be installed in a fume hood
- LED diascopic lighting (colour temperature 4000 K) for a clear, even image across the entire field of view
- Wide, clear view with 2x lens
- Flexibility in the use of different containers
- Fast, efficient cell observation thanks to the integrated phase contrast (iPC) system, with no need to switch between 4x and 40x lenses
- New phase contrast technique (IVC) for a three-dimensional view: clear views in three dimensions, without halos or directional shadows
- Fluorescence with 3-position slider
Applications
- Clear background (protoplasts, phyto- or zooplankton, etc.)
- Phase contrast (transparent living cell activity)
- Fluorescence
