BX53 upright microscope – Evident-Olympus
The OLYMPUS BX53 upright microscope is a versatile, upgradeable model designed to meet the needs of laboratories and research. Thanks to its modularity, it can be adapted to a wide range of observation techniques: brightfield, darkfield, phase contrast, DIC, polarisation and fluorescence. Its ergonomic design with compact Y-shaped stand and ambidextrous controls optimises working comfort and available space. The robust, precise stage, combined with high-brightness LED lighting and an innovative homogeneous fluorescence system, guarantees reliable results. Compatible with cellSens software, it can be progressively motorised and automated.
Features of the BX53 upright microscope
Customisable for brightfield, darkfield, phase contrast, Nomarski/DIC, polarisation and fluorescence observations
Ergonomic, you can personalise your workspace by placing the microscope controls around you:
- While operating the focusing controls, the operator keeps his arms and hands on the work surface.
- Compact microscope with a Y-shaped stand and smaller lamp housing, freeing up space for specimens and ancillary equipment
- Ambidextrous stand construction with all controls on both left and right sides
The BX 53 has excellent hardware modularity (manual, semi-motorised or motorised control modules) and software modularity.
Scalable: individual components can be motorised (stage, objective turret, fluorescence filter wheel, condenser)
The BX 53 microscope stage is :
- Compact, belt-driven (no toothed rack)
- With 180×150 mm coaxial control and an X-Y travel range of 76×52 mm
- Coated with abrasion-resistant ceramic.
High-brightness LED diascopic lighting designed for pathology and laboratory work
Homogeneous fluorescence illumination across the entire spectrum thanks to a unique new “fly’s eye” spatial perspective lens design
- The fluorescence illuminator of the OLYMPUS BX 53 microscope has 8 positions
- Management of motorised components and imaging with cellSens software
- Energy-saving button to switch off the lamp after 30 minutes
- If the BX53 microscope is equipped with a camera, a button can be attached to the stand to trigger image capture during focusing.
LED illuminator
The LED illuminator for diascopic illumination makes it possible to observe violet, cyan and pink, important colours in click research applications, and to take advantage of the long life of LEDs.
