SZX10 Stereomicroscope – Evident-Olympus

The Olympus SZX10 stereomicroscope is designed for high-precision observations thanks to its Galileo optical system offering a natural and faithful stereoscopic representation of colours. With a zoom ratio of 10:1 and a magnification range from 0.63x to 123x, it is perfectly suited to the needs of research and detailed analysis.
Fully customisable, it can be used for brightfield, darkfield, polarised, fluorescence or oblique observations, with a variety of lighting options (mercury lamp, xenon or 4-position LED). The range of DFPlan and APO objectives, with large numerical aperture, guarantees exceptional resolution and distortion-free imaging.
Ergonomically designed, the SZX10 offers optimum comfort thanks to its binocular or trinocular tilting head (5° to 45°) and fine and coarse focusing. Combined with Olympus DP digital cameras, it becomes an ideal high-resolution documentation and imaging tool for research laboratories and demanding applications.

Features of the SZX10 stereomicroscope

  • Customisable for brightfield, darkfield, single polarised light, fluorescence and oblique (10) observations
  • Bionocular or trinocular optical head, tiltable from 5° to 45
  • Trinocular head optical path selection: 50%:50%, 0%:100% and 0%:100%, 100%:0%.
  • Fluorescent illuminator with mercury or xenon lamp or light guide.
  • Customisable reflected/transmitted light via 4-position LED
  • Coarse and fine focusingThe SZx10 offers a range of magnifications from 0.63X to 6.3X with its x1 objective and offers a magnification of up to x123 with an x objective.

Lenses:

  • DFPL0.5X-4 Numerical aperture 0.05 Working distance 171 mm
  • DFPL0.75X-4 Numerical aperture 0.075 Working distance 116 mm
  • DFPLAPO1X-4 Numerical aperture 0.1 Working distance 81 mm
  • SZX-ACH1X Numerical aperture 0.90 Working distance 90 mm
  • DFPLAPO 1.25X Numerical aperture 0.125 Working distance 60 mm
  • SZX-ACH1.25X-2 Numerical aperture 0.125 Working distance 68 mm
  • DFPL1.5X-4 Numerical aperture 0.15 Working distance 45.5 mm
  • DFPL2X-4 Numerical aperture 0.2 Working distance 33.5 mm

The SZX10 stereomicroscope is designed to provide a natural view of the specimen with excellent stereoscopic and colour representation. The DFPlan range combines high resolution power with large numerical aperture and working comfort thanks to the distortion-free optical design for exceptionally flat imaging. It features a Galilean optical system

  • The zoom has specific features:
  • A high zoom ratio of 10:1
  • Variable zoom magnification system with parallel optical axis
  • Zoom guide system: horizontal handle
  • Stop mechanism for the various integrated zoom positions (manual)

The SZX10 can also be equipped with a trinocular head and an Olympus DP-series digital camera for high-resolution imaging and research documentation. The DP-series cameras offer the high sensitivity required for a wide range of applications, including high-sensitivity fluorescence imaging, and can be easily controlled using Olympus cellSens software.
