Lambda HPX-15 LED Fluorescent Illuminators
The Lambda HPX-L5 LED from Sutter Instrument is a high-power, air-cooled LED light source optimised for use with liquid light guides. Based on a 90 W LED (3 mm), it generates a luminous flux equivalent to a 150 W xenon arc lamp via a 5 mm light guide. Intensity regulation is by PWM at 28 kHz or current control, with ultra-fast integrated shutter (10 µs). It retains ≥95% of its power at 5,000 h, and ≥80% at 10,000 h.
Features of the Lambda HPX-15 LED Fluorescent Illuminators
- Vibration-free coupling via liquid light guide
- Dimming via PWM (28 kHz) or current control, suitable for high-speed cameras
- Power retention : ≥95% at 5,000 h, ≥80% at 10,000 h
- Integrated shutter (10 µs on/off)
- TTL + Analog inputs/outputs, control via potentiometers and front panel display
- Active temperature monitoring to maximise lifetime
- Visible spectrum: 430-700 nm, with 405, 460, 530, 630 nm LED options
