Lambda LS Fluorescence Illuminators
The Lambda LS is a stand-alone xenon illuminator that integrates the lamp (175 W or 300 W), housing, cold mirror and power supply into a single compact chassis. It uses a liquid light guide to provide intense, even illumination for your microscope or optical instrument. The system requires no alignment or focusing of the lamp – the lamp is pre-aligned via a parabolic mirror. The standard version emits from 330 nm to 650 nm; a special extended UV version emits down to ~200 nm. The Lambda LS minimises electrical noise and avoids failures associated with remote power supplies.
Lambda LS features
- High-density xenon lamps (175 W or 300 W), superior to conventional fluorescent lamps
- Integrated cold mirror to eliminate IR and protect optical components
- Compact all-in-one design: lamp, power supply and mirror in a single housing
- Pre-aligned lamp, eliminating the need for optical adjustments
- Built-in hour meter to monitor lamp life
- Module compatible with Sutter filters (filter wheel, Smart Shutter®) mounted directly in the housing
- Can be connected via liquid guide to most Nikon, Zeiss, Leica and Olympus microscopes with external adapters
