Z-Stage Piezo Z-axis motorisation

The Märzhäuser Piezo Z-Stage enables fast, precise and stable positioning of the sample on the Z axis. Designed for easy integration into inverted or upright microscopes, it offers displacements in the nanometre range in just a few milliseconds. Two versions are available with travels of 300 µm or 500 µm, compatible with Märzhäuser controllers.

Features of the Z-Stage Piezo Z-Axis Motorisation System

  • Available strokes: 300 µm (USB/analogue) or 500 µm (EBD/WSB controller)
  • High-resolution Z positioning (down to 1 nm)
  • Fast stabilisation: 10 to 25 ms depending on model
  • Load capacity up to 1.5 kg (500 µm model)
  • Capacitive or integrated position sensor, depending on version
  • Multiple interfaces: USB, RS-232, CAN, Ethernet, analogue inputs/outputs and triggers
  • Direct compatibility with TANGO systems and standard inserts (blades, wells, boxes)
